Since July 2025, I’ve been running the social media for Panda Cat Games, starting and growing their Instagram and TikTok accounts from scratch.
I’ve focused on creating a cute, funny, and welcoming space to showcase their first game, Spirits of Heartwood. Through playful posts, character moments, cozy vibes, and behind-the-scenes content, I’ve helped build early interest in the game and connect with fans who love indie and cozy games.
I’ve discovered a real passion for social media analytics. So much so that I built a detailed, three-page spreadsheet to track performance across multiple metrics.
I even ran my own engagement experiment: posting at different times each day to see if there was a time that got better engagement (there is).
I also categorized every post into ten content types to uncover what our audience views the most and what they actually like and engage with.
The insights have already started to form a picture, and I believe they could be incredibly helpful for other indie game studios looking to grow their online presence.
While I’m still collecting data and plan to share my findings in a few months, I’d love to start helping other indie teams now.
