TikTok For Indie Games: Molly’s Expert Speaking Slot at MCM London

After running successful expert roundtables at GaMaYo at the end of last year on ‘TikTok For Games’, Molly was delighted to be asked by Game Republic to speak as part of the Indie Games Summit at MCM London Comic Con in May.

Speaking alongside sessions on funding options, investment and tax relief, Xsolla Partner Network, and a chat with James Schall from publisher, Secret Mode, Out Of The Box Thinking’s, Molly Holmes presented a whistle stop tour of how to use TikTok to promote your indie game, based on her work over the last year with Panda Cat Games.

Having set up and launched their social media from scratch, she’s quickly grown their TikTok following to well over 1000 followers, and worked with Community Manager to encourage people to sign up to their Discord, and with the Marketing Manager ahead of the launch of their Steam page.

In a meme, and example-filled, fun talk, entitled ‘TikTok For Indie Games’, she covered points on ‘Why TikTok?’, ‘TikTok’s’ Rules and her top tips for what works and what doesn’t, before taking questions.
